Eddie is so proud at his first recital in the Rotunda of the State Capitol in Austin!
Performance is a very important part of any music education program, and Dreams Fulfilled Through Music provides opportunities for students at all levels of accomplishment.
For students who have difficulty overcoming the "fear" of playing in front of others, informal group classes offer a good foundation toward the development of the casino confidence to perform for an audience in a public venue.
Every student is unique, and thus, performance opportunities are tailored to meet the needs of each individual. Often, a student is encouraged to attend other students' performances first to have a better understanding of what the idea "recital" means.
Performance opportunities provide not only the motivation to reach a specific musicianship goal, but also the chance for the student to use newly acquired skills to share his or her talents with others less fortunate, or in a community service venue.
