Adaptive Music Education: Private Instruction is adapted to meet the specific needs of the individual student. Primary Goals are musical, Secondary Goals are supportive of various therapies and/or academic goals.
ColorSoundation: DFTM's newest program of group instruction in a mainstream setting. A beginning level course designed for students of all ages and all abilities. Certified teachers use integrated technology, singing & playing and color-note-tone association to develop music literacy, absolute and relative pitch and rhythm comprehension. Classes are available in La Vernia, TX and in the Medical Center Area of San Antonio.
Music Therapy: DFTM provides referral for services of a Board Certified Music Therapist for individuals whose needs require a online casino program in which music is used as the vehicle to support non-musical goals. Music instruction (the learning to play an instrument or sing) is a secondary goal of music therapy.
Performance Classes: Students receiving private instruction receive monthly group class instruction during which students perform for each other and learn the basics of duet and ensemble playing.
